Sant Savta Mali Punyatithi marks the death anniversary (Sanjivan Samadhi Day) of Sant Savta Mali (1250–1295 CE), a revered 13th-century saint-poet of the Varkari tradition in Maharashtra.
Observed annually on Ashadh Vadya Chaturdashi (the 14th day of the dark fortnight in the Hindu lunar month of Ashadha), this day honors his life and his enduring message that selfless work is the highest form of worship (Karmayoga).
