Mahatma Phule Punyatithi is observed every year on 28 November to commemorate the death anniversary of Jyotirao Phule, one of India's greatest social reformers. Along with Savitribai Phule, he pioneered education for girls and worked tirelessly for social equality, women's rights, and the upliftment of marginalized communities.
